Mermaid

D:< I HATE pearls. Lol, srsly. I counted. 182 pearls. O_O! Originally, I colored her all nekkid, but I waffled about how to make it tasteful without labeling it mature. Honestly, I think shell bras would be uncomfortable. And I thought about starfish pasties or a kelp top but all of those seem incongruous with a mermaid . . . why would something half fish even have mammary glands anyway? *laugh* So I resolved myself to strings of pearls.

However, this started out as a quick exercise to help train up my digital painting for hair, lol. Then it turned into a mermaid picture. o_o While most textures are still soft and smooth, I enjoy the play between flat graphics like the circle/bubbles and the hair.
